In March 2026, children accidentally set fire to the jhonpris (makeshift huts) located behind Jama Masjid Bhera. Three families living there lost all their household belongings — bedding, utensils, clothes, everything. AIBF responded immediately, providing Rs 10,000 cash to each family for immediate needs. But the team didn't stop there — they rebuilt the huts and provided complete household essentials: mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, and utensils. The total aid exceeded Rs 75,000, restoring these families' lives within days of the disaster. This rapid disaster response demonstrates why AIBF is recognized as a leading charity Pakistan families depend on during emergencies. The NGO Sargodha community rallied behind the effort, with donors contributing to the rehabilitation through zakat distribution Pakistan channels and sadqa funds collected at Jama Masjid Bhera.
