Thalassemia is a blood disorder requiring regular transfusions — a constant financial and emotional burden on families. AIBF partnered with Blood Network Pakistan, donating Rs 7,000 for 10 blood bags at Rs 700 each. But the support went beyond medical needs: during Ramadan 2026, AIBF distributed Eidi (festive gifts) of Rs 500 each to 30 thalassemia children — a total of Rs 15,000 — because every child deserves to feel the joy of Eid. Additionally, when a family from Muzaffargarh with three thalassemia-affected children sought help, AIBF provided Rs 15,000 for their travel and treatment expenses. Dr Anwaar Ahmad Bugvi also personally contributed Rs 5,000 for chocolates for sick children in hospitals. This partnership embodies the spirit of charity Pakistan communities need — not just medical aid but emotional care for chronically ill children. As an NGO Sargodha residents support with pride, AIBF channels donate Pakistan contributions directly into life-saving blood supplies for vulnerable families across Punjab.
