Iftaar & Sehri Programs: 400+ Persons Served

Bhera, Malyar, Bugga
400+ persons across 4 locations

During Ramadan 2025, AIBF orchestrated a series of iftaar and sehri programmes across four locations, collectively serving over 400 persons at a total cost exceeding Rs 45,000. At Sher Shah Suri Masjid in Bhera, 200 persons broke their fast together in what has become an annual gathering of the faithful. In Malyar, another 200 persons were served a hearty meal of pulao, jalebi, and dates at a cost of Rs 20,000 — a communal iftaar that brought the entire village together. In Bugga village, AIBF took a unique door-to-door approach, delivering rice and jalebi to every household at a cost of Rs 15,000, ensuring that elderly and disabled residents who could not travel to a central location still participated in the communal spirit of Ramadan. Additionally, AIBF arranged sehri and iftaar for 30 rozadaars (fasting persons) from Fidya contributions totalling Rs 10,000, covering those whose health prevented them from fasting but who wished to support others in observing the holy month. This comprehensive Ramadan ration drive programme illustrates why AIBF is considered the most community-centred charity Pakistan has in the Bhera-Kadhee corridor. The foundation's iftaar efforts are funded by zakat distribution Pakistan and fidya contributions, ensuring religious obligations are fulfilled with care and dignity. Supporters who donate Pakistan their Ramadan contributions through AIBF know that every rupee feeds a fasting person in rural welfare Punjab. The free medical camp Bhera team also attended the Sher Shah Suri Masjid iftaar to provide on-site health checks for elderly attendees, combining spiritual nourishment with physical care.
