Ramadan 2025: 125 Ration Bags Across 6 Localities

The Ramadan ration drive of 2025 was AIBF's first large-scale food security operation, setting the template for what would become an annual tradition. A total of 125 ration bags were prepared and distributed across 6 localities at a total cost of Rs 295,000. The Kadhee region received the bulk of the support, with 78 bags costing Rs 230,000 distributed across Malyar (17 families), Bugga (13 families), Khanna (12 families), Lilla (3 families), and Dhadi (1 family). In Lahore, 25 bags worth Rs 65,000 were distributed to daily-wage labourers, and Bhera received 25 bags as well. Each ration bag contained 10kg flour, ghee, rice, lentils, sugar, salt, and chili — enough staples to sustain a family through the final weeks of Ramadan. Student volunteers from Merryland School played a key role in packing and logistics, demonstrating the community spirit that makes AIBF's Ramadan ration drive a landmark charity Pakistan event each year. This was a defining moment for AIBF as an NGO Sargodha families depend on for food security. Through disciplined zakat distribution Pakistan and transparent accounting, the foundation ensured every bag reached a verified household, earning the trust of donors who donate Pakistan their Ramadan contributions. The drive addressed acute food insecurity in rural welfare Punjab, where families spend over 60 percent of their income on food even outside Ramadan. By providing essential staples during the holy month, AIBF freed up scarce household income for medicine, school fees, and other critical needs.
