Quran & Islamic Curriculum at 3 Schools
In December 2024, AIBF launched an Islamic education initiative across three schools in the Bhera-Kadhee region: Iqra School, Merryland School, and Mehta School. The programme provides structured Quran recitation classes and Islamic studies curriculum taught by qualified teachers hired and paid by AIBF. The curriculum covers Quran reading with tajweed, basic Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Seerah (biography of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him), and Islamic ethics and values. This programme fills a critical gap, as many rural schools in the region lack dedicated Islamic education teachers despite parents' strong desire for faith-based education alongside secular academics. AIBF's approach integrates Islamic education within existing school schedules, ensuring that students receive well-rounded instruction without sacrificing time for mathematics, science, and languages. The programme has been warmly received by parents, teachers, and school administrators across all three institutions. By funding Islamic education alongside its other programmes, AIBF demonstrates the holistic vision that defines it as a leading charity Pakistan foundation. The NGO Sargodha education landscape benefits significantly from this intervention, as students in rural welfare Punjab gain both spiritual grounding and academic preparation. Supporters who donate Pakistan their zakat for education through AIBF fund both secular and Islamic learning, fulfilling a comprehensive vision of child development.
