In April 2025, AIBF made a transformative investment in the women of Maliyar village by setting up a fully equipped sewing center at a cost of Rs 50,000, funded entirely from sadqa donations. The center was furnished with 3 sewing machines, an iron, scissors, measuring tape, and a carpet for the working area — everything a professional tailoring workshop needs. The centre opened its doors to its first batch of students within days of setup, with classes running in morning and afternoon shifts to accommodate more women. A qualified teacher was hired at Rs 6,500 per month, and the curriculum covers basic stitching, advanced garment construction, embroidery, and pattern-making. The Maliyar sewing center represents AIBF's most ambitious women empowerment Pakistan initiative in the Kadhee region, a rural area where women previously had zero avenues for economic participation. Graduates of the programme will be equipped to earn income through home-based tailoring, freeing them from complete financial dependence on male family members. This charity Pakistan vocational training model demonstrates how modest investments can catalyse generational change in rural welfare Punjab. The NGO Sargodha community has rallied behind the programme, with additional sewing machines donated by local families. Those who donate Pakistan their sadqa through AIBF directly fund women's economic independence in some of Pakistan's most underserved villages.
